PROMOSI UMRAH DIGITAL MELALUI MEDIA INSTAGRAM DALAM MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 (Studi Kasus pada Al-Aqsha Travel Umrah dan Haji)

On February 27th, 2020, Umrah and Hajj were temporarily suspended by the government of Saudi Arabia in connection because of the Covid-19 Virus. According to information conveyed by the Director of Umrah and Special Hajj, Arfi Hatim, said that a total of 59,757 Indonesian Umrah pilgrims have received a registration number (inputted in Sistem Komputerisasi Pengelolaan Terpadu Umrah dan Haji Khusus known as SISKOPATUH) which was delayed by Saudi Arabia's Policy due to the Pandemic. Thru this pandemic, the Ministry of Religion issued a Decree of the Minister of Religion No.719 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Organizing Umrah Worship Trips during the Corona Virus Desease 2019 Pandemic. Digital Umrah was developed optimally during the Covid-19 Pandemic and the spirit of improving travel management standards as needed society in the digital age. Digital Umrah will make it easier for Indonesian pilgrims to make Umrah, including in managing accommodation, selecting facilities to arranging visas. Based on the researcher's background above, the researcher used a qualitative approach to find out the description and what are the obstacles regarding "Digital Umrah Promotion through Instagram during the Covid-19 pandemic based on a Case Study on Instagram @alaqsha_id of Al-Aqsa Travel Umrah and Hajj". The methodology used in this research is a case study on AlAqsa Travel Umrah Hajj. The validity of the data used in this study was triangulation. Based on research, the selection of Instagram as an active promotional media by Al-Aqsa travel is based on the practicality and ease of creating the content needed to increase company marketing and sales. The strength of Instagram, which is a group of Facebook companies based on the International Hootsuite survey agency in January 2020, is that Instagram has a total number of active users of 63 million users, divided into 50.8?male users and 49.2% male users and this is directly proportional with the data from the Ministry of Religion that the Umrah pilgrims based on gender are 59.63?male pilgrims and 40.37% are male congregations. The things that hinder the promotion of Al-Aqsa travel using Instagram media are that if the company cannot provide the information needed by consumers, the promotion will be hampered, therefore determining the staff as admin will determine the effectiveness of the promotion.
